In the literal sense — on their shoulders, with their training and character.
The Ground Forces are people who know the main thing: how to stand. Not impressively in a picture, but for real, day after day. Route marches, training grounds, the routine from which skill accumulates. Patience and strength that everyone else calmly leans on.
We wish you solid ground under your feet — and soft grass at the rest stop. Reliable comrades beside you and clear skies above. May the equipment never let you down, and may home always be waiting.
Happy holiday, ground forces. You are the support.
