Today, on Civil Defence Day, we want to thank those who teach us not to panic, to act quickly and to take care of each other.
You are the ones who arrive first when the worst has already happened. And the ones who do everything to make sure it never happens at all. Drills, evacuation plans, work with the public — behind this stands an invisible but enormous force.
A special thank you to the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and to everyone who has dedicated themselves to protecting people. May your skills remain unused, and may alarms sound only as drills.
