This is not a concept or a rumour: the device has been officially announced, and journalists have already held it in their hands. The Duo really does fold in half, and when unfolded it turns into a small tablet.
What stands out in the hands-on photos: the hinge looks bulky and noticeable — the price you pay for the halves needing to fold tightly, with no gap or misalignment. The inner screen looks even at first use, but the fold itself remains the most vulnerable area of any foldable design: that is where there is the most stress, dust and fingerprints.
It is not yet clear how the new device will behave after a year of daily opening and closing. Questions about hinge wear and protection of the flexible display remain open — only time and repair statistics will clarify them. And we, as usual, will be ready for it. 🙂
