Bloomberg reports: at the expected September Apple event, two models of the 'fifth' generation of earbuds may be presented. This is not about cameras — those, according to rumours, are being kept for next year. But an update to sound, chips, and possibly the shape — is a very real scenario.
Why does this matter? If the leaks are correct, the choice will expand again: some will take the base version, some — the advanced one with noise cancellation. The main question is how quickly the battery will say 'thanks' for active use. Batteries in earbuds are a consumable item, and it is normal for them to wear out faster than the earbuds themselves.
